01 The starting point (2019)
Big Tree was a single cannabis brand in Sacramento, fighting for shelf space in the most competitive market in the country. In August 2019, founder Danny Kurtz placed a first order with Royal Supply for stock vape cartridges, followed quickly by custom child-resistant barrier bags. We helped dial in and refine the brand from the very first run.
02 A house of brands (2021)
As Big Tree added brands, the company became CK Distribution. Royal Supply built out the packaging for each one, from Big Tree and Sticky to Sky Gardens, Status, and Diesel, shipping to dispensaries across California. One partner, one steadily growing catalog.
03 The acquisition (2024)
MWG Holdings acquired CK Distribution and its house of brands, adding four of its own (530 Grower, Blazy, Cap City, and Shake That) along with the Perfect Union dispensary network. Royal Supply kept packaging seamless through the transition and took on the full portfolio.
04 Today
Royal Supply is the sole packaging partner across all nine brands and 100+ active SKUs, managing launches, demand planning, supply chain, and around-the-clock support. They’ve worked with other vendors over the years and always come back; when MWG brought an incumbent provider, our high-touch service won the whole portfolio over.
